Important announcement.

Dear members,

As the year 2012 is approaching the end, we will have the last training for the year on 22 December 2012, Saturday. After that we will have 2 weeks holidays till we resume our first training for the new year 2013 on 5 January 2012, Saturday, and after training we will have a get-together dinner.

Cuong Nguyen Sensei's visit and seminar to MJER Singapore Club (26th and 27th October 2012).

"Our club had a fruitful 2-day seminar with Cuong Nguyen Sensei on the 26 & 27 Oct 2012. Cuong Sensei studied MJER Iaido under Hiro Sensei.

During the seminar, Cuong Sensei patiently went through and covered the fundamentals for Seiza and Batto Ho wazas in detail. He also provided interesting insights into body mechanics to ensure members practice correctly and avoid injury. Members who will be going for grading in Jan 2013 also benefitted under his tutelage.

The Seminar ended on a joyful note at Alfred’s place, Scrummy’s. 

We sincerely thank Cuong Sensei for taking time out of his busy schedule to teach us. We hope to see him again in Dec 2012. In the meantime, let’s continue to train diligently!”

MJER Singapore club's newly renovated dojo on 1st Oct 2012 :)

All thanks and great appreciations to our Senpai Michael Koh for his management of our club :) We all love our newly renovated dojo which looks and feel like the traditional Japanese dojo :)

2nd annual MJER seminar by Andrej-sensei to our club (18-19 May 2012)

Dear members, 

Thank you all for making our 2nd Aunnal MJER Seminar by Andrej-sensei a success. Let's continue to train hard and grow.

Below is a short write-up on the seminar by one of our members, Valeth. Thank you :)

We are very fortunate to have Andrej Sensei once again take time out of his busy schedule to teach us more about MJER Iaido.

During the Seminar, Andrej Sensei patiently and candidly clarified queries from the members and also went through each member's techniques in great detail.

The Seminar concluded with a scrumptous dinner at the end of the 2nd day of training with Andrej Sensei at Alfred's place, Scrummy's.

Andrej Sensei left with a favourable impression of the club and will be
reporting our progress to Esaka Sensei and Hiro Sensei.

Though short, the members benefitted a lot from the Seminar. We would like to thank Andrej Sensei once again for his kind tutelage. Let's continue to train hard and keep the club's spirit going strong!
